ウエストサイドストーリー観てきました。しかも4回。笑
ハマるととことんハマる性分なのでね。
特に、ANITA役のアリアナ・デボーズの弾ける笑顔とダイナミックな演技に心打たれた人も多いのでは？（アカデミー助演女優賞も受賞してます！）
国際人を目指すアラフォー女子としては、もう押しつぶされてしまうくらいのエネルギーに圧倒されてしまうばかりでした。もし、海外に行って仕事したり住んだりしたら、この人たちと対等に生活することを考えたら、「何にも考えずぼんやり 人の後ろをついていく人間」なんて全く見向きもされないだろうな！
さて、そんな目線も交えながらウエストサイドストーリーを楽しませてもらいました。今回は、劇中で最も有名な曲のひとつ、「アメリカ」を紹介します！貧困や人種差別のなか、皮肉も交えながら笑顔で激しく踊る登場人物たちに心が励まされます。
